Lee joined the company in 2017 as the General Manager and became the Director and Owner in 2020. Lee is a Chartered Engineer (CEng, IMechE) with an MBA and Engineering Degree and over 25 years’ experience in pumps, turbines, and compressors, he brings the leadership, technical expertise, and industry knowledge that drives the company forward

Sara joined Fenflow in 2021 and manages Human Resources, Marketing, Public Relations, and day-to-day operations, overseeing ISO 9001 quality management and internal audits to ensure all processes are compliant, efficient, and customer-focused, supported by her IOSH Managing Safely qualification.

Steve joined Fenflow in 2023 as Workshop Manager, bringing 16 years’ experience in the engine and power generation sector. IOSH-qualified, he ensured projects were delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. In 2026, Steve became Sales Manager, where his passion for safety, quality, and performance now underpins his work with Fenflow’s sales team, delivering reliable, cost effective solutions tailored to customer needs, helping customers find the most reliable, cost effective solutions for their operations.

Tina has been a valued member of Fenflow for over 35 years, starting in 1989 as a part-time office clerk and progressing to Admin Manager. She now leads the administrative team, overseeing account invoicing, payments, purchase orders, and the setup of new jobs. With decades of experience, Tina ensures processes run smoothly and efficiently, providing customers with reliable, professional support at every stage of their projects.

Our workshop team, with many members serving 20+ years, includes engineers, machinists, fitters, technicians, and apprentices who deliver high-quality, reliable repairs and overhauls for pumps and motors. Fully trained for on-site and in house work, all projects are completed safely under project specific RAMS and in line with safety standards, ensuring efficient, compliant solutions for our customers.
As an experienced Engineer/Fitter at Fenflow Limited, you will deliver high-quality service to our customers, with a strong focus on industrial pumps, safety valves, electric motors and gearboxes, prioritising safety, technical excellence, and reliability. This role involves a mix of workshop and site work.
You’ll work across a variety of customer sites from drainage and water facilities to power stations and food manufacturing, providing technical expertise while maintaining strong customer relationships. Health and safety is a priority, both on-site and in the workshop.
Service, inspect, overhaul, and commission industrial pumps and safety valves in line with good engineering practice.
Carry out preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and planned inspections.
Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, rebuilds, and full installations in both the workshop and on customer sites.
Work with a wide variety of pump types, including centrifugal and positive displacement.
Undertake electrical fault-finding and basic electrical work associated with pumps, motors, and control equipment.
Produce detailed documentation to include service reports, fault logs and inspection reports.
Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and engineering manuals as required.
Observe and promote health & safety procedures at all times.
Participate in the on-call rota (approx. 1 in 4 weeks) providing urgent support to contracted customers, (on-call payments apply).
Proven experience stripping down, rebuilding, and maintaining industrial pumps and/or safety valves.
Experience with land drainage or water management pump systems is highly desirable.
Confident working both in a workshop and on-site at a variety of customer locations.
Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach.
Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude.
Commitment to health & safety and adherence to safe practices at all times.
Full UK driving licence
Proven experience as a skilled engineer/fitter, ideally with:
Industrial pumps
Safety valves and mechanical systems
Diagnosing, stripping down, and rebuilding mechanical assemblies using industry best practice
Confident working both in a workshop and on customer site
Excellent communication skills and professional, customer-focused attitude
HNC or other engineering qualification.
Time-served mechanical or electrical apprenticeship.
CCSNG.
Confined space training.
Experience across power stations, water, or drainage sites.
Flexible and able to work outside normal hours, including evenings and weekends for urgent breakdowns.
Able to adapt to varying site conditions and work effectively with colleagues and contractors.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineering professional who combines strong technical knowledge with commercial awareness.
You will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, preparing quotations and tenders, and promoting Fenflow's engineering services and products.
The role is ideal for someone with experience in pumps, valves, rmechanical engineering, maintenance contracts, or industrial sales.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop new business opportunities across industrial, water, drainage, utilities, NHS, and commercial sectors.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Promote pump, valve, motor, and engineering service solutions.
• Conduct customer site visits, surveys, and technical assessments.
• Prepare quotations, technical proposals, reports, and cost estimates.

What We're Looking For
Essential
• Experience within pumps, valves, mechanical engineering, water, drainage, utilities, or industrial maintenance sectors.
• Proven experience in technical sales, contracts engineering, business development, or project engineering.
• Strong commercial awareness and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to understand technical specifications and customer requirements.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
• Experience with framework agreements and public sector procurement.
• Knowledge of Contracts Finder, Find a Tender, Delta eSourcing, Proactis, or similar procurement platforms.
• Experience working with Internal Drainage Boards, water companies, local authorities, NHS estates, or industrial clients.
• Understanding of pumping stations, wastewater systems, flood defence assets, and mechanical plant equipment.

We are looking for an organised and proactive Purchasing Clerk / Office Administrator to join our busy engineering and operations team.
This role would suit someone with experience in purchasing, procurement, logistics coordination, or office administration within an engineering, manufacturing, transport, construction, or industrial environment.
Previous experience in an office or administrative role (purchasing experience desirable)
Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
