The SMI is a hydraulically balanced internal rotary single component mechanical seal suitable for use with a variety of stationary face arrangements. Designed for industrial pumps handling suspensions, slurries, and liquids, it features a non-shaft-fretting design to reduce maintenance and equipment overhaul costs. The smooth non-clogging profile ensures long seal life by preventing solids from damaging the spring and seal faces. Depending on condition, all First4Seals cartridge seals can be fully refurbished.
